‘Come to the edge,’ he said.
‘We can’t Master, we’re scared.’
‘Come to the edge,’ he said.
‘We can’t Master, we’re scared.’
‘Come to the edge.’ he said
They Came.
He pushed them….
They flew
Freedom is our destiny.
Let us take steps to carry us into the greatness
which is our birth right
This is the quote at the front of the journal that was given to each person who had attended a Journey Intensive Workshop.
This is where your Journey begins, The Journey Intensive is the first step on your path in freedom. This is the course where you dive into and experience first hand the powerfully transformational effect of Journeywork.
I first attended a Journey Intensive Workshop back in 2000. I remember when I came home from the weekend Des said I was transformed, glowing with love of life.
You can read Brandon Bays’ story here and how she developed the Journey process. A process that has transformed the lives of so many people, from children to those in their 80’s.
Yesterday I opened an email from Laurie Collins, who heads the Australasian office of the Journey, based at Byron Bay, about 45 minutes from where I live.
A movie “Make a Real Difference” has been made and it encompasses and explains, succinctly, this very simple process.
The “Making a Real Difference” project was originally inspired by a group of friends, who all recently had the pleasure of experiencing the deep sense of truth and beauty that the Journeywork (pioneered by Brandon Bays) offers. With the exception of Laurie Collins (The Journey Australasia) who spearheaded the project, the rest of us had no idea this stuff was out there! To read more and view the movie go to www.liveinawareness.com.
For anyone who wants to find out more about the Journey, Brandon is doing an Introduction to The Journey, this coming Wednesday 30th Jan @ at 6:30pm NSW/ 8.30pm NZ/ 4.30pm HK. A bit awkward for anyone in North America (2.30am Eastern on Jan 30th.)
Simulcast! (Attend via Phone or Webcast — it’s your choice) http://instantteleseminar.com/?eventid=1627383
If there is an area of your life you are stuck in, want to change……. this may be the process for you. As the movie outlines, so many people have been transformed.
One habit Des and I use every morning, was suggested by Brandon on Journey intensive 5 years ago, for couples wanting to deepen their relationship, was to ” Namaste” one another . When one of us is travelling we do this over the phone. Guess what, it works.
Namaste is such a “feel good” word. I love the ring to it. I loved the sound of the word even before I asked a friend what it meant.
Turns out ‘Namaste’ reflects the belief of a Divine spark within each of us located in the heart chakra. To say it is like sensing the soul in one person through your own soul. “Nama” means bow, “as” means I, and “te” means you. Thus, Namaste literally means “bow me you” or “I bow to you.”
Some people gesture Namaste. Over time, I learned this ritual is expressed when someone places the hands together at the heart charka, closes the eyes, and bows the head. It can also be done by placing the hands together in front of the third eye, bowing the head, and then bringing the hands down to the heart. This is an especially deep form of respect. Its a form of love and compassion.
The meaning of Namaste is so deep and profound.
Thanks for sharing with us and explaining it in detail.
Now I need to practice….
cheers
Rob
