Breaking free can be applied to any area of our lives, often it is just a nudge or step out of the known and familiar, that sets us on the path to freedom.
Card of the Day is a feature I mentioned last week that I was going to add to this blog.
Most mornings I draw a card from one of the many decks of cards I own. Sometimes I ask a question that is pressing for me, while shuffling the cards. Other times I just ask ” What do I need to know today?”
Great draw today, I thought. This has been a breaking free week for me and there is still more to do. Breaking Free is the title of Chapter 6 in A New Earth , that was a big AHA for me. I wrote about this in last Monday’s Motivation.
This card is from Doreen Virtue’s Healing With The Fairies: Oracle Cards
Do you have a breaking free story to share?
Hi Suzie
how interesting that you use cards too. We use them in our personal life as you describe but we also use the pictures on the cards for therapeutic prompts in our counselling room. I have three set questions that I ask a client to answer after they have reflected on the picture that they picked: Describe what you see, Describe what you feel about what you see and How does that fit into your life now?
Answers are always interesting and create a cognitive process of self change (breaking free).
I am wanting to buy a new premises for us to work from – a magnificent and emotionally calming place… our breaking free process is in full swing and we are loving the excitement and challenge of it.

Ahhh Breaking free Suzie – what an exhilerating place to be! I am engaged in breaking free from one professional life and moving into another, and while the range of emotions cover the entire spectrum, the good thing about breaking free is that I KNOW it was the right decision. I somehow think that if there are entire groups of us all making these right, energetic decisions, that the world will be a better place.
As always – a thoughtful and well written post that has set me thinking. Allowing the joys of the universe to flow, and being grateful for the challenges which sometimes force you to grow…. ahhh, therein lies the dilemma some days. Thank you for reminders as some days I travel a parallel journey to yours.
Enjoy your week Suzie, and may the blessings continue to flow, Nancy
Hi Nancy,
Thanks for the wonderful comments and so happy that you are feeling in the flow.
Your comments always reassure me that what I am doing achieves my main goal to make a difference in the lives of others.
PS have been trying to call you, will look out on skype later
In case we don’t connect
May you continue moving forward with joy
Namaste

Breaking free is something which has very large meaning. Being a graphologist, I can understand that if a person keeps doing same thing over and over again he/she looses their original character and gets moulded in new. If this change is for good, it is most welcome but if it brings negative things like ignoring your loved ones and your health, breaking free is the way to get back to your old self again.

Hi Alok,
Interesting distinction you make about using the process of change and breaking free in relation to bringing negative things back to a positive state or vibration. Just not sure how one would want to shift back to the old self if you are seeking change?
Have an abundant day
Suzie
Breaking free has a broad meaning. And right, this could be applied in any aspects of life. Thanks for sharing, I always enjoy reading your posts. 🙂
