Do you sometimes wonder why the wheels you put in motion to move your current project or goal into momentum slow down? Sometimes for me, as in the past couple of days, it feels like the brakes have been pulled on by some mysterious third party.
Today’s card Steady Progress gave me a clue to help solve my dilemma.
So what stops me building momentum? I thought the answer was to try and go at full throttle, I have had to face the fact that I could not sustain that and get everything done well. Bettjoy, a friend and fellow LOA coach reminded me of the systematic action I took back in May to get to Vancouver. I had a vision, I had a plan and I did the things I had to do so that I would achieve my goal. I realize now it was not so much a matter of speed as a focussed building of momentum which became unstoppable.
So I now have to work out how to rinse and repeat!
I generally tend to get excited and impatient about new projects.
But I have one on the backburner right now that is taking it’s time to come together. And I seem to be okay with that. I guess it’s a bit like slowly cooked food – the end result can be SO much better than if it were rapidly cooked. I hope that’s what is happening with my project. 🙂 I’d rather do it slowly and without stress (and hopefully do it well) than rushing it simply for the sake of getting it done.

Back to blogging!
Like you I have a project I keep putting on the back burner and something has appeared today that might skyrocket it into existence, I will see.
Now for the rinse and repeat plan
Life is all about slow progress. I’m used to it being a fact of life. In my mind, that’s the particular meaning of that card.
Sounds like you have life in perspective Supernetuser. Thnaks for the observation
