LETTING GO TAKES LOVE
To let go does not mean to stop caring,
it means I can’t do it for someone else.
To let go is not to cut myself off,
it’s the realization I can’t control another.
To let go is not to enable,
but allow learning from natural consequences.
To let go is to admit powerlessness, which means
the outcome is not in my hands.
To let go is not to try to change or blame another,
it’s to make the most of myself.
To let go is not to care for,
but to care about.
To let go is not to fix,
but to be supportive.
To let go is not to judge,
but to allow another to be a human being.
To let go is not to be in the middle arranging all the outcomes,
but to allow others to affect their destinies.
To let go is not to be protective,
it’s to permit another to face reality.
To let go is not to deny,
but to accept.
To let go is not to nag, scold or argue,
but instead to search out my own shortcomings and correct them.
To let go is not to adjust everything to my desires,
but to take each day as it comes and cherish myself in it.
To let go is not to criticize or regulate anybody,
but to try to become what I dream I can be.
To let go is not to regret the past,
but to grow and live for the future.
To let go is to fear less and love more
and
To let go and to let God, is to find peace !
Remember: The time to love is short

Let’s all allow the love
Beautiful poem about letting go. thanks for posting it. I just wrote an article for my newsletter about a similiar subject. Letting go…learning how to do that was quite a journey for me. I am still not 100% there but when I meditate I get blissfully close.

Dear Suzie,
This is such a profound poem….with such deep meaning. Letting go is never easy, but when done, there no better way to live.

Hi Zeenat
Yes I loved the poem and as you say letting go is never easy, but when we do let go we become more free
with love

Letting go…….the key to happiness. Very difficult to do without constant reminders however. Thanks for providing a much needed reminder!
Yes we do need those constant reminders to stay on the path to happiness and joy
Lovely post!
IsnĀ“t it amazing that when you need to think about a way of being, something pops up and the answer comes to you?
I just found your blog and browsing through your page came across this post.
Today was a day I needed to be reminded about this.
Thank you!
I will get on with my day with this reminder.
Letting go can be extremely difficult. Anyone who has loved and then lost that love can agree with that. The grieving process takes time but over time you heal and hopefully can accept it and move on.
