This old proverb is the inspiration for this weeks motivational saying.
Sometimes this proverb is stated: A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
And taking that first step on the journey to……….. is the simplest one but, at the same time, often can be the most challenging, often fearful. It can be a step into the unknown
I have just been commenting on Wendy Piersall’s Monday Motivation: Give us your to be list.
Wendy talk about getting bogged down by the “doing”. How many people relate to that?
I know yesterday that was where I was. A broken blog, pes of paper, a house to clean, not to mention the 500 plus emails, monetize the blog. Then, there is the very what could be total getting bogged down by the “doing”: planning and packing, as this time next week we’ll be in Beijing.
Wendy asked the question ” What is my outcome?” and “So who are you going to BE today and what are you going to accomplish to support yourself in your long-term goals?
This helped me get clarity on my outcome and not being bogged down by the detail.
Today is a new day and I feel positive, even optimistic. Focusing on my outcome, allows me to take action that moves me forward.
My vision is to live my dreams,to make our millions on the Net, have a million friends around the world, with time and financial freedom, making a difference. That puts a smile on my face.
What steps will you take today to live you dreams?
And I like the saying: What did you do today that made your heart sing?
“When the PRIZE is clear, the PRICE gets cheap.”
The real secret is getting crystal clear on what you want… and moving toward it. From there, everything else falls into place.
When all you think about is your one and only, you’ve found your only one.
